Bangkok Motor Show 2025 officially kicks off with 54 automobile and motorcycle brands participating in the event

The 46th Bangkok International Motor Show has officially begun, featuring participation from 41 car manufacturers and 13 motorcycle brands—a total of 54 exhibitors. The event is expected to boost the vibrancy of Thailand’s automotive industry.

Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, in collaboration with over 54 leading automotive brands, is hosting the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show under the theme “The Talk of Sensuous Automotive” — highlighting the concept of “automotive conversations.” A key highlight of this year’s event is a newly introduced zone dedicated to showcasing both EV and internal combustion engine parts, following successful partnerships with manufacturers and distributors from China. The event will take place from March 26 to April 6, 2025, at IMPACT Challenger Halls 1–3, Forum Hall 4, and IMPACT Exhibition Center Hall 5.
Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow, Chairman of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, explained this year’s theme. “ “The Talk of Sensuous Automotive”—represents a design philosophy that connects with deep emotion, passion, and inspiration, communicated through the language of automobiles. It reflects creativity, innovation, and aesthetic experiences that are meaningful and valuable.”

Mr. Jaturont Komolmis, Vice Chairman of the event, shared that 54 brands from Europe and Asia are participating, comprising 41 automotive and 13 motorcycle companies. The show also welcomes new EV brands debuting in Thailand, such as ZEEKR, OMODA & JAECOO, CHERY, KINGGEN, JUNEYAO, RIDDARA, and GEELY, as well as HUAWEI’s in-car navigation technology. Also debuting is YADEA, an electric motorcycle brand from China. Notably, Chinese participation has grown by 14 companies this year.

One of the key highlights of this year’s event, besides the launch of new car and motorcycle models—both combustion and electric vehicles—is the dedicated 9,000-square-meter space in Forum Hall 4, set aside specifically for automotive accessories.

This year, the exhibitor base has expanded to include manufacturers and distributors of EV and combustion engine parts looking to enter the Thai market. Seeing the opportunity and potential of the Bangkok International Motor Show as a world-class automotive exhibition, the event has gained support from Nanjing Chongqing Exhibition Company from China, which has brought in a wide range of auto and electric motorcycle parts from China to showcase for Thai businesses interested in becoming official distributors.

This marks the first time the show will include a dedicated business-focused automotive exhibition, providing a direct networking and B2B opportunity for industry players across a space of over 3,800 square meters within Forum Hall 4, running from March 24–30, 2025. Visitors can expect to find products that meet high-quality standards at competitive prices directly from manufacturers.

In addition, the event will feature booths displaying luxury used cars, as well as lifestyle products, fashion items, spiritual goods, prize competitions, and many fun-filled activities throughout the halls.

Another special feature that brings extra vibrancy to the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show this year is MU-NIVERSE: Opening the Universe of Thai Mysticism to the New Generation—an event that curates Thailand’s spiritual and mystical culture in an accessible and engaging way. It bridges beliefs, art, technology, and lifestyle, and will be held from April 2–6, 2025, at Forum Hall 4. Visitors will get to meet Master Luck Horathibodi and several other well-known spiritual influencers, join fortune-telling sessions, consult auspicious dates for car purchases, choose lucky license plates, explore amulets and sacred items, trade mystical collectibles, and receive exclusive lucky stickers available only at the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show.

Mr. Anothai Eamlumnow, Chief Production Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, revealed that “For this year’s activities, in addition to the E-Racing experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in virtual car racing through simulator machines, the organizers have also partnered with R.C.S. (Runbike Championship Series) from Japan to host a balance bike competition titled ‘Grand Prix Run Bike Championship With R.C.S.’ within the event.”
“This includes two Pre-Event rounds, and the competition marks an important step in promoting youth sports in Thailand. There will also be booths showcasing children’s products, sports gear, and lifestyle items, along with a dedicated family activity zone.”

Mr. Peeraphong Eamlumnow, Chief Executive Officer of Grand Prix International Public Company Limited, added, “As the organizer, our company has continuously developed new service formats to enhance convenience for both exhibitors and visitors, ensuring they enjoy a fresh experience—especially through the integration of digital transformation technologies to make attending the show even more seamless.”

“We have developed a LINE Official Account (Line OA) to make registration more convenient, while also enhancing communication between the company and consumers. This platform allows us to present new products and service models from both the Auto and Lifestyle segments, which the company has developed to support future business growth.”

“In addition, we have introduced a Fullloop program, which enables us to collect feedback from visitors in a faster and more convenient way. Visitors can complete a short survey to evaluate the event, allowing the organizers to gather real-time data and analyze the results promptly. Gathering feedback is extremely important, as it helps us improve various aspects of the event and better respond to the needs of our visitors.”

This year’s event is expected to generate over 10% more revenue compared to the previous year. However, the overall automotive industry is forecasted to remain flat, as the domestic economy has yet to recover clearly, and global economic uncertainty persists. Financial institutions also continue to tighten lending due to the high level of household debt. Nevertheless, consumer demand for both new and used cars remains strong.

The organizers of the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show are confident that visitors will receive exceptional deals, have access to the latest automotive technologies, and enjoy exclusive privileges. This is truly the perfect time to make a decision, with excitement and value on par with the most memorable shows of the past.
