BMW Presents a Full Lineup of New Models with Exclusive Offer ‘JOY WITH CONFIDENCE’

At the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, BMW Group Thailand is showcasing a full lineup of new models, offering customers a wide range of choices. The highlight of the event is BMW’s engine technology that caters to the needs of current usage with both plug-in hybrid and fully electric vehicles.

Get ready to meet the new BMW M4 Competition M xDrive Coupe, another model in the M family that has been redesigned, adding more performance, with the M Driver’s Package as standard, increasing the top speed from 250 kilometers per hour to 290 kilometers per hour while the 3.0-liter inline-six petrol engine. The new BMW 330e M Sport is now equipped with a 22.3 kWh high-voltage battery that supports charging at a maximum power of 11 kW and reducing the full charge time from 3 hours 45 minutes to only 2 hours 15 minutes. When driving in zero-emission mode, the WLTP standard all-electric range extends up to 85-101 km. This new battery works together with a plug-in hybrid drive system that has been proven on the road, including a 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology that produces a maximum power of 184 horsepower, a 109-horsepower electric motor and an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission. In total, it can deliver a maximum power of 292 horsepower and a maximum torque of 420 Newton-meters.

The new BMW M3 Competition M xDrive Touring, the flagship of the 3 Series family, continues to combine racetrack performance with everyday versatility. This facelift has elevated its sporty presence and power to an even higher level. The most powerful engine is a 3.0-litre, straight-six engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, which has 20 horsepower more than the previous model, up to 530 horsepower, with maximum torque of 650 Newton-meters between 2,750-5,730 rpm. It is paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic Sport transmission with Drivelogic, sending power to all four wheels, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 3.6 seconds. The M Driver’s Package also increases the car’s top speed to 280 kilometers per hour.

The new BMW 530e Inspiring is outstanding beautiful with lines on the surfaces all around the vehicle. In this new model, there is a Titanium Bronze trim set to lift another level of luxury with a light bronze tone on the kidney grille, which complement with the light from the BMW Iconic Glow lighting system. The 20-inch wheels have also been redesigned to be Aerodynamic in a Multicolour Titanium Bronze tone to perfectly match with this elegance new trim set.

A 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology works together with an electric motor to produce a combined output of 299 horsepower and a maximum torque of 450 Newton-meters, enabling acceleration from 0-100 kilometers per hour in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 230 kilometers per hour in electric drive mode. The 22.1-kilowatt-hour high-voltage battery has a range of 87-102 kilometers (according to WLTP standards) and a top speed of 140 kilometers per hour when driving on electric power mode, with simulated engine sounds from the BMW IconicSounds Electric system.

The new BMW M5 Touring combines outstanding performance with the option of pure electric driving. Its powerful character is fully demonstrated with large air intakes, the M kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow lights, while the rear is decorated with a curved tail lights strip that fits every proportion, situated above a double diffuser and a set of four tailpipes.

The M HYBRID system combines a 4.4-litre V8 engine with an electric motor, with an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission. The pure engine produces a maximum power of 585 horsepower and a maximum torque of 750 Newton-meters at 1,800-5,400 rpm, while the electric motor from 5th generation BMW eDrive technology produces an additional 197 horsepower and a maximum torque of 280 Newton-meters. In conclusion, the M HYBRID system in the new BMW M5 Touring produces a maximum power of 727 horsepower and a maximum torque of a stunning 1,000 Newton-meters.
