DEEPAL S05: Ushering in a New Era of Electric Mobility

The DEEPAL S05 is the latest innovation from the DEEPAL brand, designed to deliver an exhilarating and enjoyable driving experience. It is available in two variants: a pure EV model with a driving range of 470 km (NEDC standard), and a REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) model, offering versatility to meet diverse customer needs. The REEV version operates primarily on electric power and is supported by range extender technology, which combines an internal combustion engine and a generator. This system activates to supply additional power when the battery is low, effectively extending the vehicle’s driving range. The DEEPAL S05 REEV allows drivers to enjoy the benefits of electric driving without range anxiety. Performance tests conducted in Thailand confirm that the DEEPAL S05 REEV can travel up to 170 km in pure electric mode (based on the NEDC standard), making it ideal for daily commutes and short-distance travel. For longer journeys, once the 27.28 kWh battery is nearly depleted, the 1,497 cc 4-cylinder, 16-valve VVT engine kicks in as a range extender. When fully charged and with a full 44.9-liter fuel tank, the vehicle offers a total driving range of over 1,000 kilometers.

Introducing the DEEPAL Hunter K50, the world’s first REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) pickup, which seamlessly blends cutting-edge technology with exceptional utility. Delivering a total output of 200 kW and 470 Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds—outperforming conventional diesel pickups. Its 31.18 kWh LFP battery allows for up to 131 km of pure electric driving (NEDC) and over 900 km of total range with the range extender, setting a new benchmark in the pickup segment.
