MINI Delights Fans with Pricing Announcement for John Cooper Works

MINI has thrilled their fans by revealing the exciting prices for the new MINI John Cooper Works lineup—making it hard to resist not placing an order. The all-new MINI John Cooper Works Electric is priced at 2,199,000 THB (including VAT and MSI Standard package), a figure MINI enthusiasts know makes ownership more attainable than ever.

The 3-door MINI John Cooper Works Electric comes equipped with a fully electric drivetrain delivering up to 258 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque available instantly with zero delay. Beyond its responsive electric powertrain, it also features an Electric Boost function that temporarily adds 20 kW of extra power during acceleration. The chassis is tuned in full John Cooper Works fashion to provide that iconic “Go-Kart Feeling” — powerful, agile, and thrilling through every curve, just the way MINI fans love it.

With exclusive styling and equipment all around, the MINI JCW Electric is the perfect fusion of motorsport heritage and the future of mobility. It features a bold new JCW red-white-black logo inspired by the checkered flag, and an eye-catching rear spoiler that not only enhances aerodynamics but also helps extend its driving range up to 371 km per full charge.

The all-new MINI John Cooper Works Aceman comes in at 2,399,000 THB (including VAT and MSI Standard package). Like the 3-door JCW Electric, it boasts a 258 hp electric motor, but adds more interior space and a higher ride height, making it even more versatile. It still packs a punch, with a top speed of 200 km/h and 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 6.4 seconds. Its 54.2 kWh high-voltage battery provides a driving range of 355 km per charge (WLTP). It has a fast charging of 95 kW DC and gets the battery to full in just 31 minutes, while 11 kW AC charging takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes.

The new MINI Cooper Convertible S is priced at 3,199,000 THB (including VAT and BSI Standard package). The highlight of this model is its soft top roof, which can be opened in two ways — as a sunroof or fully retracted. It can open automatically in just 18 seconds while driving at speeds up to 30 km/h. The sunroof mode can be used at any speed. When fully opened, the roof folds neatly behind the rear seats, and the round OLED screen will activate the “Always Open Timer” to track your top-down driving time.

With the roof open, the MINI Convertible S offers 160 liters of cargo space, thanks to its compact roof-folding mechanism. When the roof is closed, cargo capacity increases to 215 liters. The tailgate opens downward for easy loading and unloading—showcasing this convertible’s impressive versatility. For safety, a roll-over protection system is triggered automatically if sensors detect a potential rollover.

It comes with a 2.0-liter petrol engine that produces 204 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, achieving 0–100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds and reaching a top speed of 237 km/h. Thanks to its finely tuned suspension, the MINI Convertible S delivers agile, precise handling that makes it just as fun to drive as its hardtop counterpart.
Meet the full MINI lineup at the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, happening from March 26 to April 6 at Challenger Hall, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.
