BMW R 1300 GS Adventure
A legendary motorcycle built for the ultimate adventure is back with the new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, which has been almost completely redesigned to take the long-distance touring experience on two wheels to the next level.
The signature twin-cylinder boxer engine continues to power the new R 1300 GS Adventure. This engine made its market debut on the BMW R 1300 GS and is more compact than its model. With the gearbox relocated beneath the engine and a new camshaft drive system, this power plant produces a maximum output of 107 kW / 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm, making it the most powerful boxer engine from BMW production line.
For the Automated Shift Assistant (ASA) system is pre-installed. The newly designed suspension in this model is centered around a steel frame, which is not only more compact but also stronger than the previous version. At the rear, the all-new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure features an aluminum trellis frame, instead of the steel tube structure. The EVO Telelever front wheel guide system works in combination with highly flexible components, along with the improved EVO Paralever rear wheel guide system, to increase steering precision and riding stability.
The new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure comes with 4 riding modes, increase 3 mode from the previous model. The appearance of the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure stands out with the 30-litre aluminium fuel tank that is exposed for all to admire. The tank’s width enhances rider confidence when taking off while also providing excellent wind protection from the front. The large windshield with two large transparent windscreens also helps the rider tackle various weather conditions with ease, improving comfort and reducing noise at the same time. On the left and right sides of the upper tank, there are rubber trays for placing various equipment during roadside stops.
At the front, the new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure features a matrix LED headlight with integrated daytime running light, along with two slim auxiliary lights. The newly designed LED turn signals are located on the front of handguards and blend seamlessly into the rear design.
The new BMW R 1300 GS Adventure is available in four variants including Triple Black (Manual Gear), GS Trophy (Manual Gear), Option 719 Karakorum (Manual Gear) and Option 719 ASA (Automatic Gear).
